What a treat to have been joined by so many for our festive jolly here at Trafalgar Wharf this December!
With The Drystack in lights, we welcomed our extended Trafalgar family (you) for mince pies, mulled wine, live carols and a big screen showing of the latest Trafalgar Christmas video! Being the 9th year that the team have come together to create something stupidly fun, it was a wonderful opportunity to roll out the red carpet and share the film with you all.
Thank you to the Portchester Community Choir for joining us on the evening and bringing such lovely carols to the Drystack. As a thank you for their time, a donation has been made to their charity of choice, the Astro Brain Tumour Fund.
In place of sending Christmas cards this year it was decided that we would donate the money normally spent to a cause very close to our hearts, The Royal National Lifeboat Institution – Jake Biggs, Chief Training Instructor here at Trafalgar volunteers all of his spare time to the Portsmouth Lifeboat Station, a unit providing all important search and rescue for the eastern Solent since 1965.
Donning full lifesaving safety kit for the evening, Jake accepted the donation on behalf of the RNLI. A wonderfully eye-opening opportunity for all to see what kind of vital lifesaving equipment charitable donations like this go toward funding.
Thank you to all who joined us, we look forward to hopefully welcoming you again next year.
Watch all of the fun from our evening in The Drystack…
