Going Transatlantic!

We know you love everything boating, so fancy a fun and informative evening finding out about Chris’ next escapades?

Our chief instructor Chris, will be sailing across the Atlantic again…..and he’ll be talking through his journey and how he plans to prepare for an adventure of this magnitude, from equipment and safety to food and water and all things inbetween. This is not Chris’ first time crossing the Atlantic, so the lessons learned from the last trip will also be shared. 

Chris has learned some lessons from his previous voyage and would love to share his experiences and knowledge about his past expedition and his upcoming trip with you.
Joining two of his friends on their sailing yacht Dufour 41  ‘Lamorak’, they’ll be travelling from Marina Mindelo in São Vicente, Cape Verde across to Camper & Nicholsons Port Louis Marina in Grenada. They’ll have a small amount of Caribbean cruising before finally ending up in St Lucia where Chris will finally fly back to the UK. He’ll pass on details of how to follow the crew of Lamorak across the Atlantic on his latest epic sailing adventure. 

We’re looking to start the event around 6pm, where we’ll have pizzas and beers and have a little time before the talk to chat and socialise. The evening will be fun and informative, but will give you the taste for perhaps looking at a similar adventure yourself, or simply just gaining new boating information.
